  2. NICARAGUA WATER PROJECT How our club got involved: • Potters for Peace visits local clubs. • Fernandina, Amelia Island Sunrise, Ponte Vedra Beach, and St. Augustine. • Our club wanted an international project.

  3. NICARAGUA WATER PROJECT • Preparing application: • Idea of the scope of the project. • Approved expenses for Rotary funding. • Local Rotary clubs’ involvement. • NGOs/ In-country Rotary clubs. • Progress & final reports.

  4. HAITI • District focus this year is Haiti. • President Art Shuster – already working with Canaan Orphanage. • Talk to your fellow Rotarians about projects. • Grant application for discovery trip/ supplies/project.

  5. GETTING IDEAS FOR PROJECTS & JOINT CLUB INVOLVEMENT • Before needing a grant, you need a project! • Attend Rotary functions & support other club’s fundraising events. • Get involved in an ongoing project. • Ask/invite other clubs to join in.
