  2. Objectives • To learn proper measurement techniques. • To use metric conversions and different metric units. • To learn how to calculate absolute and percent deviation. • To learn proper data table construction. • To calculate the mass of the air in the room.

  3. Theory • absolute deviation = | measurement – average of measurements| • % deviation = average absolute deviation/average measurement • V = Lwh • ρ = m/V • Overall % deviation = Σ % deviation of each measurement • ρair = 1.292 kg/m3

Why? • How did the objects in the room affect your final measurement? If you were to account for them in your final measurement, how would the final measurement change?
