  11. ITQ Renewal Criteria • ITQ : reminder of ITQ renewal for Instructor Trainers that qualified before 31 July 2013. • Their renewal date is 31 July 2014. Renewal criteria is to maintain a valid, CCNA certification and to have instructed min 3 classes for the last 12 months. • If they are not able to meet the latter requirement, there are equivalent IPD activities that they can consider participating. Advances in NZQA mappings • TROC/MROC are developing new Level 4, 5 and 6 ICT qualifications. • Ian Patterson has been involved with the Level 6 Diploma. • The Level 5 Diploma is common for most. IT Essentials would cover a paper in this. • The original level 6 Networking qualification for our area had provisions for 30 credits of networking with the rest common • It has been agreed that Networking will have a separate qualification with possibly 90 credits of networking and the other 30 credits common. • Suggestions are 4 CCNA papers plus CCNA Security, and CCNA Voice or CCNA Wireless or equivalents
