  2. Ephesus • The ancient city of Ephesus (Turkish: Efes), located near the aegean sea just 18 km ahead of Kusadasi, was one of the great cities of the Greeks in Asia Minor.

  3. Virgin mary • The House of VIRGIN MARYIt is a popular place of pilgrimage for Catholics, where virgin mary spent the rest of her life. Located on top of Bulbul Mountain which on top of the hill from The Getaway, 9 km ahead of Ephesus, it also gives the visitors a panoramic view over the town .

  4. Temple of artemis • It was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

  5. The basilica of st john • The Basilica of ST JOHNIt is on the slope of The Ayasuuk Hill near the center of Selcuk, just below the fortress and about 3.5 km (2 miles) from Ephesus. It stands over the believed burial site of St. John, who is identified as the apostle, evangelist (author of the Fourth Gospel) and prophet (author of Revelation).

  6. İsa bey mosque • ISA BEY MOSQUEIt is one of the most delicate examples of Seljukian architecture, situated below the basilica of Saint John. The Mosque was built between the years of 1374 and 1374.

  7. Ephesus museum • The museum consists of a large hall, small hall, another big hall and a colonnaded courtyard. It is in Selcuk.

  8. Priene didyma miletos • PRIENEDIDYMAMILETOSYou can visit 3 of them in the same day. Priene, Miletos and Didyma are very close each other. First city Priene is 35 km ahead of Kusadasi. Priene is an ancient greek city, Miletos is a greko-roman ancient city, Didyma has a temple of Apollo ( oracle center ) .

  9. pergamon • Located 190 km ahead of Kusadasi. The site is occupied by the modern town of Bergama, in the province of Izmir, Turkey. Pergamum existed at least from the 5th century BC.

  10. aphrodisias • APHRODISIASLocated 170 km ahead of Kusadasi. The ancient city of Aphrodisias, dedicated to the goddess of love Aphrodite. It was an Hellenistic city. For more info.

  11. caravanserai • CARAVANSERAIIt was built in 1618 by the Ottoman vizier Okuz Mehmet Pasa, the attractive Caravanserai was served for the sea trade of the region. It was used by tradesman for the works of repairing until 1965. It has been serving as an authentic hotel and restaurant. It is located opposite of harbor and open to all visitors till midnight.

  12. Sirince village • SIRINCE VILLAGEThis pretty old Orthodox village 30 km away from Kusadasi. Today the village is a perfect synthesis of Turk-Greek culture as of the 1920's.

  13. pamukkale • PAMUKKALE ( Cotton Castle ) Pamukkale is one of the most interesting places in the world, justly famous not only for the entrancing beauty of its unique geological formations but also for its historical remains. Pamukkale is unique in the world. It is a little bit far from Kusadasi ( 220 km ) but definitely worth to see.

  14. Pigeon island • PIGEON ISLANDIt is in the Kusadasi Center, very close to harbor. It is connected to the land so, walking by the seaside may be enjoyable. Pigeon Island, with it is gleaming image, really deserves to be the symbol of Kusadasi. The eye-catching view of the island, uniting with the panoramic colors of sunset attract every visitors. The city walls of the castle on the pigeon island still remains.

  15. Bafa lake • BAFA LAKE2000 years ago the Bafa Lake was a bay of the Aegean Sea called as a "Gulf of Lade". Due to deposits of the river Meandros the bay was slowly separated from the sea. This explains why the lake contains water with a slight salt content, in which mullets, sea breams, eels and carps are caught
