MATH- Future Directions Faculty: •Improve the balance of TT/Adjunct faculty raio Community Service: •Continue North State PD through CMSE and Math Ed faculty outreach Curriculum •Improve uniformity and rigor of liberal studies mathematics including expanding enrollments in the “hands-on” labs and possibly appointing a liberal studies coordinator. •Increase the percentage of liberal studies math courses taught by TT faculty •Increase programmatic support and course offerings for liberal studies students seeking course work for subject matter authorization •Expand enrollments in x-courses •Reduce SFR and increase student/faculty contact by increasing FTF (face to fa ce) contact hours in general education and remedial courses. •Restore and revitalize the Masters in Mathematics Education program •Develop a data analytics multi-discipinary program • Develop a foundational level single subject waiver program • Recruit, retain, and graduate sufficient numbers of majors in the various mathematics options to meet service area and statewide needs Professional Development • Improve Instructional strategies through expanding PD opportunities on and off campus.

  12. Portal Resources Depository being created for two main reasons: Department Documents: RTP, Department Policies and Procedures, anything you think should be there. Shared Course Documents: Syllabi, Homework assignments, quizzes, activities, exams, course content, Room for Other stuff too.
