Adolf Hitler • Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889. • He was an Austrian-born politician. • He was the leader of the Nazi Party. • He also served in world war 1. • Hitler's Nazi party captured 18% of the popular vote in the 1930 elections. • He was elected chancellor of Germany in 1933. • He also launched World War 2. • His new bride Eva Braun joined him in suicide in 1945.

  3. JosephGoebbels • Joseph Goebbels was born in 1897. • He was a German politician and Reich Minister of Propaganda in Nazi Germany. • He was Adolf Hitler's closest associates and most devout followers. • He wrote many novels and plays. • Goebbels came into contact with the Nazi Party in 1923.

  4. Hermann Goering • Hermann Goering was born in Rosenheim, Bavaria on 12th January 1893. • He joined the German army in June 1912. • After the war he worked at Fokker Aircraft Works for two years. • 1932 he became President of the Reichstag. • He committed suicide October 15, 1946.

  5. Heinrich Himmler • Heinrich Himmler was born on October 7, 1900. • He joined the Nazi party in 1925. • He rose to become head of S.S. • He was the man in charge of the concentration camp system. • He committed suicide in 1945.

Adolf Eichmann • Adolf Eichmann was born in Solingen on 19 March 1906. • He was the man who chose who goes to the concentration camps. • He was head of the Department for Jewish Affairs in the Gestapo from 1941 to 1945. • He was chief of operations in the deportation of three million Jews to extermination camps. • Adolf got the death penalty on May 31 1962.

  7. Rudolf Hess • Rudolf Hess was born in 1900. • He joined the SS in 1934. • He then became head of Auschwitz concentration camp. • He was given the death on August 17 1987. • He became know as the greatest mass murderer of all time.

  8. Josef Mengele • Josef Mengele was born on March 16 1911. • In 1937, Mengele joined the Nazi Party and only one year later he joined the SS. • He did many medical experiments at Auschwitz trying to find a good way to kill. • He became know as the “Angel of Death”. • Josef Mengele died from having stroke while swimming and drowned on February 7 1979.
