  2. Characteristics • VERTEBRATES: they have a skeleton. Vertebrate bodies have several parts: • The head: the skull protects the head. • The trunk: the spinal column, ribs, shoulders and hips are all in the trunk • The limbs. The bones are long. They have four legs. • The tail: this is an extension of the spinal column.The are very small vertebrae in the tail.

  3. More characteristics • VIVIPAROUS: They are born from their mother’s womb • MAMMALS: They drink their mother’s milk. • HERBIVORES: They eat plants, like grass, oats, pasture, hay.They have special teeth to help them cut and chew plants. • UNGALATES: Horses have feet with hooves.

Raça: Andalús • Andalusia, (jerez de la frontera), resultat del creuament de cavalls de la península Iberica amb berberisc del nord d’ Africa. • Es un cavall de presència imponent i aires elevats i espectaculars te la gropa lleugerament inclinada, i un admirable grau de flexió en les extremitats posteriors, te un coll podero´s i un perfil facial convex.
