National Park Service U.S. Department of the Interior North Atlantic Coast CESU -- some comments on funding process -- • Requests for Statements of Interest and Qualifications • Open only to North Atlantic CESU, several CESUs (those with Northeast focus), or all CESUs • For example, in April 2013, three Requests for Statements of Interest were issued; • Submerged Habitat Mapping ($900,000) • Enhanced geospatial framework and elevation mapping ($850,000) • Geospatial data management, acquisition, change analysis, LiDAR ($800,000) • Seek Investigators with a long-standing commitment to specific issues and with outstanding productivity
