To design the whole frame of the intelligent style of precision maize seeder 1)The precision seed-metering is designed to be driven by a servo motor instead of traditional land wheel driven system which may avoid the influence of land-wheel slip to the sowing quality. 2) The sowing depth is controlled by the adjustable earth-covering device which may adjust the press power and the sowing depth. 3) The alarming device is set in front of the cleaning roller which will send an audible alarm when the accumulated straw presses the chosen spring to make the touch switch closed.

The intelligent controlling system of seed-metering device In the controlling system, the vehicle speed was firstly detected by the hall sensor, and the rotating speed of maize seed-metering device was controlled according to the vehicle speed by the single chip, which may meet the requirement of both the planting space and the maize number of unit area.

  7. The intelligent control system of sowing depth When the pressure of press wheel which is measured by the pressure sensor is changed,the computer will send a control signal to transform the length of electric cylinder and to change the covering soil which may meet both the depth and the press power of corn seeder.

  8. Fault alarm system When there is too much straw at the former of furrower that the straw pressure force to the pressure plate is greater than the pre-set value of the pre-pressed spring, the pressure plate will push down the tappet, and the tappet will push down the alarm contact which may lead the alarm system to make an audile alarm. 1.furrower 2.column 3.straw clear roller 4.press plate 5.spring 6.tappet 7.alarming contact

In this alarming system, it was thought that the common pressure sensor may be influenced by the field-dust and brought a fault alarm, so the pressure sensor was selected as an adjustable spring instead of the traditional sensor which may reduce the occurrence of the false alarm in the process of operation.

  10. Conclusions (1) The intelligent style of precision maize seeder was designed which may improve the sowing quality. (2) The intelligent metering system based on motor-driven can improve the consistency of planting space because the seed-metering device is driven by the servo motor which can avoid the slipping interference of land wheel of maize seeder. (3) The intelligent alarming system can improve the working reliability of no-tillage maize seeder because the force sensor is used in the system which can prevent the alarm system from making a false alarm. (4) The intelligent control system of sowing depth can improve the consistency of the sowing depth and intension of the compaction which may create a good growth environment.
