  1. Cornell notes How we can make our notes work for US!

  2. Divide your paper. You will draw an off centered “I” on your note paper. LEAVE room to write! Nothing will get your frustrated faster than not having room to write! (TRUST ME)

  3. Write the topic, your name and date at the top of the paper • The large box is for notes and drawings • Skip a line in between ideas • Abbreviate as needed.* Resources Coach C 27-Aug-13 Notes & Drawings

  4. After (or during) viewing the video, presentation, lecture or reading, go back and pull out: • Main Ideas • Key Points • Important People or Dates • Write these in the LEFT column
