While some people have a general idea of what size they need, there are some of us that need a little guidance. So what size exactly are these duvets and what types of beds are they best suited to? In this article, we give you the information you need to understand every quilt size in Australia. Single A single size quilt is the smallest standard sized quilt available and as the name would suggest, it is generally used on small single beds or bunk beds. In measurements terms, a single size quilt measures approximately 140cm x 210 cm or 55 inches x 83 inches. A queen size quilt measures 210 cm x 210 cm or 83 inches x 83 inches . King A king size quilt is the largest size of quilt that is normally available in Australia. While there are larger available if you so desire, in general terms, the king size doona is the largest size that is easily purchased in any bedding shop or department. A king size quilt measures 245 cm x 210 cm or 95 inches x 83 inches.
