  2. Billing Period Dates in WOI Billing period dates in WOI For invoices regarding technical subcontracting it is very important that the invoice billing period is entered in WOI. These dates are used to be able validate the invoice in respect of: • Invoice period must fall into purchase order valid period, if not the invoice is incorrect and should be rejected. This statement is valid for both hour and expense invoices. • Billed number of hours should be equal to claimed hours in IBM’s time reporting system ILC for the same period, if not the invoice is incorrect and should be rejected. • Reconciliation of invoices is done in Citrus. For Citrus to be able to automatically do this the dates need to be filled in correctly in WOI.

  6. How to enter the dates in WOI On the next screen the actual billing period is entered. The billing period is defined as: • Billing period start date: First date where service has been delivered. • Billing period end date: Last date where service has been delivered. Example: Invoice for February 2010 (which in IBM terminology is 2010-01-23 – 2010-02-19). • The subcontractor has worked2010-01-27: 8 hours2010-02-10: 7 hours2010-02-17: 8 hours • This would give a total on 23 hours between below dates: • Billing period start date: 2010-01-27 • Billing period end date: 2010-02-17 See below screen where they should be entered in WOI.
