  2. Xbox live Xbox live is simple a way to take the game to the next level , you can chat with friends, talk to strangers, and play many games with friends and or strangers online . To get started with online game play , go to your nearest store and look in the electronics or gift card section and ask someone that works there for a Xbox live card , then go to your Xbox profile and select connect to Xbox live , and enter the digit code on the back of the card after u select redeem . Once you complete those step you are able to make a gamer tag which is your virtual name online.

  3. Online chatting There is a option on on the online Xbox dashboard were you can view parties or private chats . Xbox live parties are a way of communication were u can talk to more than one friend online with a microphone , or there is another option were you can private chat someone this means that you and a friend or stranger can have a totally private chat were u can communicate using a microphone .

  4. Friends list • A friends list a is a list or gamer tags were you can view your friends game activities and if they are online or offline for how many hours they play also you can view there profile and invite them to party and or game. A green body means that your friend is online and you can select their profile and chat or play with them . If their body happens to be red that means they are offline, and usually it will tell you when they were last Online .

  5. messaging This is a section on the Xbox guide were u can send friends or recent players text messages and or voice messages, you can also send the message two one or more person

  6. Profile This is a option were u can select the way your friends view your profile different from strangers , a profile picture (a picture that everybody will see) a bio ,a motto and were u live or your name. You can also view the games you play and your rep online .

  7. Avatar • A avatar is like a mii on the Wii, it is a character were you select a created avatar to play you in games like on the kinect or many arcade games you can play.

  8. Microsoft points Microsoft points on Xbox live are like money you can go to the market place and buy clothes for your avatar, buy map packs for call of duty , classic games demos movies and many ,many more things .

  9. Online clans Online clans are like teams that you can form online where you can play together and verse other clans . It costs 800 Microsoft points to change your gamer tag to a clan name or any name .

  10. Settings You can go to settings and select many options like you can change the way people view if you are online you can also choose a setting that makes you unable to talk to people you aren't friends with
