  2. Spring Unit Outline • Monday: Read a book about Spring and then plant a seed so we can observe the life cycle of the seed. • Tuesday: Discuss what starts spring. Nature walk around school to look for the signs of spring. • Wednesday: Discuss weather (example: rain) benefits and months March, April, and May. • Thursday: Discuss animals and insects and their life cycle. • Friday: Students will look at time-lapse photos of a seed growing into a plant. Discuss what plants need to grow. Do an art project using only seeds and petals of plants.

  4. OUTCOME AND WORKS CITED • Upon completions of this unit students will be engaged in a class discussion about Spring. I will evaluate their understanding by asking questions and having them describe what Spring is.
