Project objectives • Background (context) • of the European PV Policy Core Group: • National indicative targets for PV until 2010 defined in EU White Paper - not reached!?! • Disparate national policy approaches and effectiveness in terms of market development • Evaluation of national support mechanisms by the European Commission in 2005/2006 announced in Green Electricity Directive (2001/77/EC) • => ways of improvement and/or harmonisation?!? Management guidelines (reporting) • Reporting obligations of Co-ordinator to EC: • 1) Technical progress reports (every 6 months) consisting of: • Progress report, status of implementation by work package with overview on the status of deliverables (responsible wp-leader with the assistance of all involved partner) • Overview table on the budget expenditure per partner & work package (in %) • Up-date of the summary in the project database of the Commission (IntellEBase) by the co-ordinator • 2) Interim technical implementation report & financial statement (month 12) • 3) Final technical implementation report & financial statement (month 28) PV Policy Group – 1st European Core Group Meeting

Management guidelines (reporting) • Reporting obligations of project partners to dena • 1) Financial reporting (every 6 months) by each partner (Budget Control Sheet) • Overview of actual budget expenditure (in €), including cost distribution per work package and per cost type • => dena receives 10 budget control sheets every six months! • 2) Technical reporting (every 6 months) by WP leaders + NCPs for WP4 (WP Control Sheet) • Overview of status of implementation for the respective work package • Short briefing (2-5 pages) on WP progress • Copies of final deliverables for the WP • => dena receives 7 WP control sheets every six months!
