  1. Wind Operations Task Force Status update for ROS 11 Sept 2008 mtg: Major accomplishments since last ROS meeting • WOTF hosted Wind Workshop II on Aug 22, hearing presentations and viewpoints from three wind project developers, ERCOT Operations staff, and from TDSPs. • WOTF reviewed and modified a draft OGRR on 24/7 communications, and will be forwarding it to OGRTF in a few days. This will complete #2a. • WOTF reviewed the issue of ramp rate limitations as applied to natural wind speed increases, and found such a limitation will not fix frequency problems as seen. This completes #3a. However, the WOTF seeks to further explore other possible solutions as discussed at WW II. • WOTF reviewed the draft Ancillary Services proposal and individual participants made suggestions. This proposal will increase Regulation Service and Nonspinning Service in the days following when more is needed on an ongoing basis. This will conclude #3c.
