CEDR Implementation Framework What is a CEDR Implementation Framework? • A CEDR Implementation Framework is a joint NRA agreement on strategy and procedures for the implementation of pan-European eSafety services and the consistent interaction with other stakeholders. CEDR Implementation Framework Why do we need a Framework? • CEDR needs a framework to guide the development of services relevant for NRAs to continue to act as Network Operators and safeguard their mandate and objectives with respect to other stakeholders; • In the discussions on the implementation and deployment of ITS a joint approach and strategy with an European momentum is required to be a counterparty for European oriented industries/stakeholders CEDR Implementation Framework

CEDR Implementation Framework How do we create a CEDR Implementation Framework? • Agreement on priority services related to Network Operations • Definition of typical tasks that should be left to the Road Operators/NRAs which ultimately is the core business of NRAs • Role and responsibilities the NRAs claim within Network Operations CEDR Implementation Framework
