  2. Where does this person come from? • Born in La Grange, North Carolina. • Moved to Harlem, New York at 15. • Cousin died when he was only 6 years old. • This is what sparked his life of crime.

  3. How does his background affect his position? • His background was very rough. • He grew up on the rough streets of Harlem and struggled almost all of his life. • He was tired of going hungry night after night. • He would rob drunks coming out of local night clubs and run home with the money.

  4. Why is he considered a leader? • He was a major drug dealer. • He was very charismatic. • He was very rich. Made $1,000,000 a day. • He was known as “Superfly”. • He “owned” Harlem.

  5. What characteristics separated Frank from other drug dealers? • His imagination and ability to think ahead. • His creativity. • Also his style separated him from most. • He was a bully and wanted everything to go his way.
