  3. Attendance Pupils must attend school every day A note should be provided on the first day back to explain any absences Attendance trips

  4. School starts each day at 8.50am Pupils will be marked late if they arrive later than 9am Home times: Nursery – 1.30pm P1, P2 & P3 – 2pm P4 – 7 – 3pm P1 – P7 go home at 2pm on Fridays Drop off and collection

  5. Nursery pupils should be brought to their classroom door. P1 should be brought to the door in the front corridor. P2 & 3 should arrive in the assembly hall. P4-7 pupils should be left to the front door. They will make their own way to their classrooms. Drop off points

  6. Pupils in Nursery – P5 should be collected by someone who: Is over 16 Is named on their contact sheet If pupils are to be collected by someone other than those named on the contact sheet, teachers should be advised of this in writing in advance.

  7. In an emergency situation, parents/guardians should contact the school office and advise of changes to pick up arrangements. P6 and P7 pupils are permitted to walk home alone but are not permitted to escort younger siblings/friends/neighbours home.

  8. Uniform Uniform can be purchased from Karen or David in the office. All pupils should wear their school uniform everyday. It is parents’ responsibility to ensure that all items of uniform are clearly labelled with names! Football shirts/shorts cannot be included as part of PE kits.

  9. Homework Each class is different. Homework is not optional! Pupils from P1-P7 will have homework every night Monday-Thursday. Where a homework has not been completed, an explanatory note must be provided to the class teacher the following morning.

  10. Dinner & Snack School dinners cost £2.30 per day and should be paid for in advance. Please send correct change in a labelled envelope! Snack costs £2.50 in P1 & P2 and £3 in Nursery per week .

  11. Breakfast Club is held everyday from 8.15am to 8.50am in our school canteen. It costs £1.50 per day. Pay on a Monday for the whole week and get Friday free!

  15. Parent meetings are held in October. It is extremely important you attend this meeting to discuss your child’s progress with their teacher. Further meetings are held in January at parent’s request. Interpreters will be provided where requested. If you do request an interpreter, it is vital that you attend.
