E-Logbook 3.3.0 New Features • E-Logbook 3.3.0 New Features • All I&T requirements described in LAT-MD-04601 have been implemented. • New Logs: • EGSE Log • FSW Log • Configuration Log • FHW. • FSW (added feature). • EGSE Validation (added feature). • Configuration Request Log. • New design of Shift Log: faster, more user friendly. • Activity Report (added feature). • Error flag for runs (added feature).

  4. E-Logbook 3.3.0 New Features • New Features: • New EGSE Log • Added EGSE Type to take into account four types of EGSE: • SIMPLE, GASU, WORKSTATION, SERVER.

  5. E-Logbook 3.3.0 New Features • New Features: • A N/A validation date can now be entered for those components which never need to be revalidated, for example software components.

E-Logbook 3.3.0 New Features • New Features: • Configuration Log • Requirements in LAT-MD-04601. • Requirements were for FHW, Implemented as well for FSW and EGSE. • Snapshot of the System that shows current state of selected type of components. • Nice feature: IF any of the EGSE components are expired or about to expire validation, a flag in the Main window is raised and the Configuration Log can be accessed to revalidate records.

E-Logbook 3.3.0 New Features • New Features: • Configuration Log vs. Component Report: • The difference between the configuration log and the component report is: • The configuration log shows the LAST RECORD for ALL components any given time: it shows the current state of the system. • The Component Report shows ALL RECORDS for a given component: it shows the history of the component throughout the I&T effort.

  10. E-Logbook 3.3.0 New Features • New Features: • Configuration Request Log • Requirements in LAT-MD-04601 • Lists all Configuration Log requests for either the FHW, FSW or the EGSE components. • Accessible from the Main Window.

  11. E-Logbook 3.3.0 New Features • New Features: • Shift Log • New Activity Tables that are sort able, with copy and paste capability. • New Activity Report • If the runs have errors they will be red flagged.

  12. E-Logbook 3.3.0 New Features • New Features: • Activity Report • Shows ALL activities for a given Shift. • Refreshes if a new Shift is selected. • Accessible from the Shift Log window.

E-Logbook 3.3.0 Fixed Problems • Fixed Problems • Shift Log • Shift Handover • Users are asked to choose to make an entry between selected shift or synchronized shift. • Make sure Shifters sign in • If a user tries to make an entry on a shift he has not signed to, he/she will be prompted to do so. • Fixed slowdown when browsing Shifts. • Runs with errors are listed in red and with “/E” after event count. • EGSE Log: • Improved design to take into account not only hardware EGSE (such as Test Stands, GASU Stands) but also software EGSE (such as Workstations and Servers).

  15. E-Logbook 3.3.0 Documentation and V&V • Documentation: • LAT-PS-05664-02 released. • E-Logbook 3.3.0 Tutorial. • E-Logbook Website. • V&V: • Full Test of E-Logbook 3.3.0 on 03/30/05 passed. • Test Report for E-Logbook 3.3.0 signed off by QA and I&T Manager.

  16. Next E-Logbook Release • Next Release: Outstanding Issues • Print Procedures for EGSE, FSW, Configuration Logs,… • Analysis tools. • User Questionnaire to receive feedback about E-Logbook. • New bug fixes/JIRA issues’ fixes.
