FFV brief description • FFV is a small unit, only 5 mm in height • Prediction output is vibration • Clocking switch is at the board or optionally we can add additional extended switch • Power, button cell battery CR2032 FFV, is designed to be used mostly for ball clocking by hand. Sure it also can be placed inside shoe, then we can use foot for clocking. In such case it would be better to place vibrating motor vertically to fit in between toes, for better sensing of vibration. FFZ brief description • FFZ is a small unit, only 5 mm in height • Prediction output is by gentle electric zap to players skin • Clocking switch is connected by cable and 3.5mm jack • Power, button cell battery CR2032 FFZ is designed to be used by a single player. To feel zaps two golden plates needs to be placed against player’s skin. Zap strength is adjustable, it is faster and stronger then vibration as FFV uses. FFZ’s power consumption is significantly smaller.

  5. System menu After powering the system the system responds with 5 pulses. Then it goes in to menu which gives us 6 main options to select. • 5 Pulses Start of menu • menu1–one pulse • menu2–block of two pulses • menu3–block of three pulses • menu4–block of four pulses • menu5–block of five fast pulses • menu6–block of six fast pulses If after menu6 nothing is selected, the system goes back and repeats all menu options until we select one.

  7. Menu 1, Set & rotor/ball • Press and open the switch takes the system to SET mode, where we need to clock ball rotations of one spin. At set mode the system is ready for clocking ball rotations and wile it waits, it gives us pulses every 2 seconds. If during set up we make an error the system will respond with series of rapid pulses, take us back to 2 sec. pulses, and we need to repeat “SET” process. • Press and hold switch pressed, the system alternates 1 or 2 pulses. If we open the switch after 1 pulse the system uses ball as a prediction indicator, if we select 2 it will use rotor. We do not have to select this. By default system uses 1 (ball as a prediction indicator). Because the system gives us 3 predictions when the ball passes predicted number, I believe most of us will use ball as an indicator and that’s why it is set as a default.

Menu 2, Unlimited & Tilt 2 • 2- press and open the switch,we selected tilt2 to play unlimited version.Prediction is possible at any ball rotation; we always clock 2 ball rotations before prediction. System still uses PS “point set” which is set by default. • 2-Press and hold, the system alternates 1 to 7 pulses. Here we can select “accuracy” targeting particular ball timings, where 1 is the earliest prediction and 7 the latest.  1 would  match ball time of about 750ms  and 7 about 1600ms. If on second ball rotation clocked ball time is smaller then required by accuracy settings we have to clock more rotations. If for example we set accuracy to 4 that may be 1000ms, if we clock ball at 800ms we need to continue clocking until we get prediction. If we pass 1000 and for example clocked 1200 and 1400 the system will still accurately predict. Playing unlimited is good and easy way, on the end I made decision to include and accuracy settings so everything is included, it may be useful if you are playing sensitive tilted wheel. When system is waiting for new rotor clocking it constantly gives us double zaps (IQE6 single zaps) every 4 seconds. No matter where in program we are when we play, after some time( 8-16 seconds) the system should always return to this 4 sec pulses.

  9. Menu 3, Restore & Offset After set up and few predictions we can switch OFF the system. If later we want to play same wheel again we can restore previous settings. After each prediction the system saves important data about the play. If from menu we select 3 the system will restore previous game. IF we press and hold switch pressed after few seconds the system will start giving us vibrations / zaps. Each vibration represents 3 pockets in ball direction. So if we want to adjust offset we use this option. For example one spin prediction was zero and the ball stopped at 34. We adjust offset of 9 pockets from zero to 34 (ball clock way) So when we select menu 3, we will press and hold switch until it gives us 3 vibrations/zaps then we will open it. Now that same spin the system instead of zero will predict as 34. Be careful here once you add 9 pockets it ads it for both ball directions. Results may not be symmetrical for CW and ACW. So you may be able to adjust offset for one direction but then you have to adjust offset for opposite ball direction manually. Only FFA roulette computer can independently adjust offsets.

  10. Menu 3, Back to menu If during the game you want to go back to menu to adjust offset new set u, or PS. You do not have to go to toilet or remove battery to reset power or to even look FF system. Simply when is time to clock rotor Press the switch as you doing half rotor clocking until system starts giving vibrations / zaps. At that moment open the switch and the system will take you back to menu where you can do anything you want. If you keep switch pressed for long you will lock the system. After that the system will not respond on switch it will only give vibration every 4-16 seconds.

  11. Menu 4, Timer • Adjustable timer Press and hold the switch pressed, the system will start giving pulses, count them. Each pulse represents 200ms. If you open the switch after 10 pulses it will add 200ms x 10 = 2 seconds to timer. After that each time you press and open switch the system produces zap after 2 sec. Be aware that timer is activated when opening the switch. To exit timer mode we need to reset power.

  12. Menu 5, Point set • Press and open the switch, automatically sets PS  as with earlier program versions. New change is that the after adjustment the system will replay with 1-12 fast pulses which represent value of PS or with 5 slow pulses which mean that system did not accept PS. In the case when the ball is still to fast system doesn’t accept PS and gives us 5 slow pulses. • Press and hold the switch, system gives us 12 pulses , if for example we open after 3rd we manually set PS to 3 Added manual PS adjustment is the most useful PS change so take a note about detailed description on this subject which will be explained later. If we do not set PS the system uses default PS value but it doesn’t restrict any predictions. Once we adjust it, it will not predict if the ball speed is within PS range (previously error4) • We can use PS and with IQE6. We can use PS on a spin where ball drop point did not match expected predictions ( with IQE6, there is no danger of offset shifting as with tilt2), with IQE6 we can do it as many times as we want. All it does it tells system to avoid some ball speeds. So with this we use automatic PS. This option may be useful on levelled wheel with small tilt to avoid particular ball drop point area.

  13. Menu 6, IQE6 level wheel play • Press and open the switch starts IQE6, accuracy is selected to 4 (an average) • Press and hold, the system alternates 1 to 7 pulses. Here we can select “accuracy” targeting particular ball timings, where 1 is the earliest prediction and 7 the latest.  1 would  match ball time of about 750ms  and 7 about 1600ms. Same as for tilt2. IQE6 can’t be played as unlimited, we simply can’t predict to fast ball on a levelled wheel. So we have to use continuous clocking until ball comes to particular speed range and we get prediction. Of course if we select accuracy 1or 2 we still can wait until ball is slower and use only 2 ball clicks. However the best is to predict always in same ball rotation and for that we use continuous ball clocking.

  14. What is “Point set”? • Point set helps us to prevent bad predictions where the ball will not hit expected diamond • More importantly on tilted wheel it helps system to find out where braking point in-between two rotations is.

  15. Setting Point Set • We should set or retune the point set automatically (tilted wheel predictions) only and only after spin where the ball did not hit dominant diamond. • To set PS automatically, when is time to clock rotor we press switch as for 1/2 rotor clocking and hold it pressed for more then 8 sec. As soon we feel vibration or zap we open the switch and the system will takes us back to menu, where we select 5. • We do not do it all the time, only when it’s needed, when we notice some predictions are bad, or when not predicted spins are hitting dominant diamond.

  16. Point Set Value • After point set the system gives us some feedback • It could be 1-12 pulses that represent PS value • or 5 slow pulses when system did not accept PS because the ball was still to fast and system considers readjusting PS at that moment is pointless. • When on tilted wheel we have late predictions and using PS, we need to be careful significant change in PS value may cause offset shift for predictions.

  17. Manual Point Set • This is new to FFZ/FFV • At any time we can go to menu 5 press and hold switch and set PS to any value. After set up spin by default PS is set to middle value of 6. • If we are playing and noticing that ball drop point on some spins is passing our expected numbers we can try to set PS to smaller value. This may be the case when “set up spin” was with ball which hardly come to dominant diamond and hits it very low. • Alternatively if some spins the ball is dropping earlier then expected, we can increase PS value. • Another solution is to take new sample spin.

  18. Half wheel clocking • If spins are short, and if rotor is slow we can use half rotor clocking. While for full rotor clocking we press and open switch when zero is at one point then when rotor makes full rotation we do it again, with half rotor clocking we press and hold the switch when zero is at particular point then we open it when rotor makes half rotation. Because the switch is pressed system knows it is half rotor clocking therefore no additional setting is required. Each individual spin we can use full or half rotor. If you are planning to use it please practice it first, compare your predictions of full rotor clocking with predictions where half rotor clocking is used.

  19. Simple start tilt • Select menu 1 (setup) • Clock last about 10 ball rotations • Select menu 2 (tilt unlimited) • Clock rotor at any position • Clock 2 ball rotations at DD • Observe number under the ball at moment of zap/vibration, it is your prediction number

  20. Simple start Level IQE6 • Select menu 1 (setup) • Clock last about 10 ball rotations • Select menu 6 (Level IQE6) • Clock rotor at any position • Clock ball at any position until get prediction • Observe number under the ball at moment of zap/vibration, it is your prediction number

Using rotor as an indicator • Select menu 1 by pressing and holding switch • Open the switch after system gives block of 2 pulses • Predict same as where ball is indicator but this time at moment of zap as prediction number read number at position where you did ball clocking. • If zap is followed by rapid zaps prediction is on opposite side of number you notice.

  23. Ball jumps scatter • The FF system under right conditions and usage predicts where the ball will drop or it predicts number equally distanced form point where the ball will drop. To play effectively we need to know and how most of the time the ball will jump then adjust our predictions/offset according to it. • There is a lot of information ad explanations at forum. • END
