  9. Mammoth Cave is the only national park in Kentucky and is located in the Pennyroyal region.

  10. The Kentucky Derby is run at Churchill Downs in Louisville each May. The Derby is also called a “Run for the Roses” and has been called the most exciting two minutes in sports!

  11. Kentucky is a beautiful and diverse state blessed with mountains, valleys, rolling hills, rivers, lakes, swamps, marshes, falls, lots of caves, and bluegrass!
