Introduction In order to manage risks and disasters in Haiti, a hackathon was organized for the DPC (Direction de la Protection Civile) to find a viable and dynamic application to assist them in its task of controlling the level of preparation of the different communes before a risk, so they can save more lives during disasters. For this purpose an application was powered by the Py Master group.

  4. Why this application Every years when they are disasters in Haiti, many people dies cause there’s not informed on time, and cause there's not enough preparation to move the people to temporary shelter, and lead aid to people in peril, and also a poverty in locomotion resource. So this application will help the Direction Protection Civil (DPC) in the management of his resource around the country and having a statistic on what every commune have or need before a disaster and the minimum to have to prevent any natural disaster.

  5. How it work When we entered the application, a web page allow to visitors to have information on the app and many links towards the DPC site and statistic via an interactive map with information on the preparation level of different communes. An admin page has been created too for the DPC direction to view information, to fill investigation form, to load investigation form from Microsoft word, to do query and as needed print report who’ll allowing the DPC to take decision and save lives.

  7. Conclusion In the case that the country benefit to that application, there will have a fruitful evolution in the lifeline of our fellow citizen who died every year during disasters in cause a lack of preparation and a resource grant between the communes.
