  5. Significant Figures • RULE 1: All non-zero numbers are significant. • 315 • 3 sig figs • 542334 • 6 sig figs

  6. RULE #2: Zeros are weird and come in 3 flavors FLAVOR 1: Leading Zeros FLAVOR 2: Captive Zeros FLAVOR 3: Trailing Zeros
