  1. To import music or sound effects, save it to your computer then click FILE-IMPRT-AUDIO

  2. The double sided arrow shown above is the time shift tool. It is used to move any sound forward or backwards along the timeline. The tool that looks like the letter I is the selection tool. When you want to copy something or highlight a part of a song and edit or delete it, you use this tool to select it.

  3. To fade out a sound, highlight a section and Click EFFECT – FADE OUT.

  4. Individual tracks can be muted by clicking the mute button shown. This is helpful when you want to record without background music or when you want to hear only 1 track and silence the rest. Note: Just under the mute button is the volume slider for each track.

  5. When finished, click FILE-EXPORT. If you can save in mp3 format do so. If not, you can save it as a wav file (which is a much larger file.) and I will show you how to download an mp3 converter later.

  6. HOT TIP: If the pause button is pressed (as shown above) you will not be allowed to do anything until you hit the STOP button. Be sure to click STOP after recording so that you can continue with the project.
