  6. Playing an Instrument • Which instrument? • Finding the right teacher (if any) • Balancing dreams and reality • Communicating your needs and wishes • Possible problems: Inertia, dyspraxia, motor problems, hypersensitivity, exposure anxiety etc. • Playing together

Music Therapy • Using music not just for its own sake • Self-expression and communication through music • Possible things to work on: Inertia, dyspraxia, motor problems, hypersensitivity, exposure anxiety etc. • Different approaches and settings: Creative music therapy, Guided Imagery, psychoanalytical music therapy, individually or in groups, etc.
