HISTORY & MISSION The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) was established via Presidential Decree on September 20, 2010 by unifying the Russian Academy of National Economy (RANE), the Russian Academy of Public Administration (RAPA), and 12 other regional civil service academies. It traces its history back to 1977 and eventually became the leader in management training for economics, business and law. Our mission is to produce flexible, globally competitive managers capable of addressing the challenges of social and economic development with professionalism and innovation in both public and private sectors. 1946 1977

RATINGS Academy traditionally has the leading position in the ratings of Russian universities and business schools.In 2013, according to the portal «Typical entrant» Muscovites called the Presidential Academy one of the best universities in Russia. In general, the list of popularity among the residents of all regions of Russian Academy took the 3rd place.The Academy regularly takes the leading place in the rating of universities of the rating Agency «Expert RA».Business education at the Presidential Academy for two consecutive years is considered the best in Russia.In the national rating of business schools of Russia, composed of the portal Superjob.ru and the Russian League MBA (published in the newspaper «Izvestia» :8.10. 2012), the Academy received the highest rating.ANE has entered in top-10 among the registered economic faculties and research centres in the world: the Academy took VI place in the total number of published scientific works (1 387) and the 9th place, the number of downloads for 2013 (29 962 download). THE NATIONAL SCHOOL OF GOVERNMENT 45% OFFICIALS OF THE COUNTRY WERE TRAINED IN ACADEMY 1 150TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR STATE AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES 38 000 STATE AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES received TRAINING AT the ACADEMY IN 2012 • Some training of state and municipal employees, implemented by the Academy: • «Top management personnel reserve» - 78 persons; • Training of administrative personnel in the field of health and education» - about 11 000 people; • «The system of personnel training, support and maintenance of local self-government " - 175 000 people; • «Training of the public servants and members of socially-oriented NGOs - 8 000; • «The program on counteraction of corruption» - 3 700 persons; • «The system of training of state and municipal services in electronic form - 2 000 people. By order of the President of the Russian Federation of December 25, 2009 № PR-3484 and in accordance with the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation from April 22, 2010 № 636-R Academy appointed as the sole contractor for the program of training and retraining of top-level management personnel.

THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MEDIA POLICY The department of public relations trains specialists in the area of strengthening the relations between state authorities and management of commercial and public organizations. The head of Department - doctor of sociological Sciences, Professor, the chief editor of the journal «Communicology»- Felix Sharkov.
