10. Revelation 20:1-2 • Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

11. Psalm 91:11-12 • For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you with their hands to keep you from striking your foot on a stone.

Ephesians 6:11-12 • Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

29. The English word translated "will" is the Greek word thelo. It means to have in mind, to wish for, to desire.

30. Hebrews 12:2 • We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish. He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy he knew would be his afterward. Now he is seated in the place of highest honor beside God's throne in heaven.
