  3. OBJECTIVES • TO KNOW ABOUT DIFFERENT BIRDS AND ANIMALS. • TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN BIRDS AND ANIMALS. • TO LEARN ABOUT THE LIVING PLACES OF BIRDS AND ANIMALS. • TO CREAT AWARENESS AND LOVE FOR NATURE.

  4. DEAR CHILDREN, YOU HAVE OBSERVED THE ABOVE PICTURES. • WHAT ARE THEY CALLED? • YES, THEY ARE ANIMALS. • DOES ALL THE ANIMALS LOOK ALIKE? • NO ,THERE LIES MANY DIFFERENCES AMONG THEM.

  5. THERE LIES MANY DIFFERENCES AMONG ANIMALS. • ANIMALS ARE DIFFERENT IN SHAPE, SIZE, COLOUR, BEHAVIOUR ETC.. • SOME OF THE ANIMALS LIVE AROUND US, THEY ARE CALLED DOMESTIC ANIMALS. • SOME ANIMALS LIVE IN JUNGLES, THEY ARE CALLED AS WILD ANIMALS.

There are some animals which eat other animals. • They are called carnivorous animals like tiger, lion, hyena, leopard etc. • Generally these animals live in jungles. • They are also called wild animals. • All the wild are not necessarily carnivorerous. • There are many wild animals who live in jungle but are herbivorous like deer, elephant, zebra, giraffe, monkey and many more.

  7. YOU HAVE SEEN THE ABOVE PICTURES. • WHAT THESE ANIMALS CALLED? • YES, THESE ARE CALLED BIRDS. • WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BIRDS AND OTHER ANIMALS? • THE UNIQUE FEATURE AMONG BIRDS IS THAT THEY HAVE WINGS AND THEY CAN FLY, THEY GIVE EGGS, MAKE THEIR NESTS ON TREES OR BUSHES.

  8. LOOK AT THE ABOVE PICTURES OF BIRDS. • THE ABOVE BIRDS HAVE SOME UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS. • THEY EAT OTHER SMALL ANIMALS AND DEAD ANIMALS. • BUT MOST OF THE BIRDS EAT FRUITS, NUTS ETC..

  9. Look at the above pictures. • These animals lives around us. • These are called domestic animals. • We use domestic animals for different purpose. • COW gives us milk, horse is used for riding and racing. • Bullocks for agriculture and pulling bullock carts. • Dogs for hounding our houses.
