  3. Sundial • Investigate properties of light sensors on motes • Ultimate goal: to build a mote camera • Arrays of light sensors in unusual geometries • Automatic sensor calibration • Near goal: Sundial

  4. Ivy Infrastructure Project • Principle goal is to provide a research infrastructure • People: Kris Pister, Barbara Hohlt, Jaein Jeong, Support Staff, JP Vainio • Advertisment for fulltime PA-II out now (CITRIS) • First Demo: BSAC Equipment Inventory

  5. Idea • A network of fixed and mobile motes in Cory Hall • 1 year on 2 AA batteries • ~1% duty cycle • Motes send connectivity information and “custom data” to a base station • Log and web interface
