  3. Overview • Real-time quantitative information about the population within a building facility enhances the efficiency of rescue and safety procedures.

Requirements • Real-time counter • Count accuracy within 90% • Detection height of the average doorway • Attempt to discern between more than one person entering and exiting • Database • Store all building and count information • Update in real-time • Android Application • Retrieve necessary information from database upon login • Display floor plan and population
