  • Is successful recruitment, a simple calculation?
  • A simple calculation?
  • - Our goals at board level are strongly linked to the targets of the Dutch MOD NL on recruitment.
  • Target for set for 2010 is 7000 new recruits!
  • - Our ambition at board level is >30% recruited for the AFMP/FNV and the MAR/FNV in 2010.
slide12

Recruitment & Organising

  • Is successful recruitment, a simple calculation?
  • No conscripts in the Dutch Armed Forces
  • Soldiers and Corporals leave before 30 / 32 years
  • Constant attention from the Recruitment Coordinator to find new opportunities to recruit more members
  • - Reporting by the Recruitment Coordinator to the Union Chairman
slide13

Recruitment & Organising

  • Organising recruitment aspects within the organisation:Our working group collects all the data from the MODin a early stage:
  • - When and where are big (military) events planned?
  • - Planning off major university / school information gathering events
  • - Is there also MOD / Police / Fire Services present?
slide14

Recruitment & Organising

  • Organising recruitment aspects within the organisation:- Recruitment and promotion are closely linked to each other
  • Member benefits (Goodies) are of great importance, but cost a lot of money
  • Therefore member benefits and representation costs are monthly on the board agenda
slide15

Recruitment & Organising

  • Organising recruitment aspects within the organisation:- Strong instrument is: member-by-member recruitment * We also let our members do the promotion (in our magazines, Website and promotion days)
  • - Organising special events where members and special Guests / VIP’s get a change to communicate!- Most imported for us is: what do our members want?
slide16
