23. 17 So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations.

25. Hebrews ฮีบรู11:31 31By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies. 31เพราะความเชื่อราหับหญิงแพศยาจึงมิได้พินาศไปพร้อมกับคนเหล่านั้นที่มิได้เชื่อเพราะนางได้ต้อนรับคนสอดแนมเป็นอย่างดี

26. James ยากอบ 2:24-25 24You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. 24ท่านทั้งหลายก็เห็นแล้วว่าผู้ใดจะเป็นคนชอบธรรมได้ก็เนื่องด้วยการประพฤติและมิใช่ด้วยความเชื่อเพียงอย่างเดียว

27. 25And in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? 25เช่นเดียวกันราหับหญิงแพศยาก็ได้ความชอบธรรมเนื่องด้วยความประพฤติมิใช่หรือเมื่อนางได้รับรองผู้ส่งข่าวเหล่านั้นและส่งเขาไปเสียทางอื่น

30. 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.

31. 18 เรื่องพระกำเนิดของพระเยซูคริสต์เป็นดังนี้ คือมารีย์ผู้เป็นมารดาของพระเยซูนั้น เดิมโยเซฟได้สู่ขอหมั้นกันไว้แล้ว ก่อนที่จะได้อยู่กินด้วยกันก็ปรากฏว่า มารีย์มีครรภ์แล้วด้วยเดชพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์

32. 19 And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. 19 แต่โยเซฟคู่หมั้นของเขาเป็นคนมีธัมมะ ไม่พอใจที่จะแพร่งพรายความเป็นไปของเธอ หมายจะถอนหมั้นเสียลับๆ

33. 20 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

35. 21 She will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” 21 เธอจะประสูติบุตรชาย แล้วเจ้าจงเรียกนามท่านว่า เยซู เพราะว่าท่านเป็นผู้ที่จะโปรดช่วยชนชาติของท่านให้รอดจากความผิดบาปของเขา”

36. 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: 22 ทั้งนี้เกิดขึ้นเพื่อจะให้สำเร็จตามพระวจนะของพระเป็นเจ้า ซึ่งตรัสไว้โดยผู้เผยพระวจนะว่า

37. 23 “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call His name Immanuel”(which means, God with us). 23 ดูเถิด หญิงพรหมจารีคนหนึ่งจะตั้งครรภ์ และคลอดบุตรชายคนหนึ่ง และเขาจะเรียกนามของท่านว่า อิมมานูเอล (แปลว่าพระเจ้าทรงอยู่กับเรา)

38. Isaiah 7:14 14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

39. 14 เพราะฉะนั้น องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะประทานหมายสำคัญเอง ดูเถิด หญิงสาวคนหนึ่งจะตั้งครรภ์ และคลอดบุตรชายคนหนึ่ง และเขาจะเรียกนามของท่านว่า อิมมานูเอล

40. 24 When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, 24 ครั้นโยเซฟตื่นขึ้นก็กระทำตามคำซึ่งทูตของพระเจ้าสั่งนั้น คือได้รับมารีย์มาเป็นภรรยา

41. 25 but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called His name Jesus. 25 แต่มิได้สมสู่กับเธอจนประสูติบุตรชายแล้ว และโยเซฟเรียกนามของบุตรนั้นว่าเยซู
