  8. This presentation concerns co-ordination of research on specific subjects conducted by FAA, JAA and Transport Canada. Co-ordination means an international Research Technical Team identifies research needs and members each contribute research toward the goal. Subjects to date include Icing and Cabin Safety which have both been highly successful. Human Factors has been less successful mainly due to availability of staff, this function will now be with the HFStG. JAA/FAA/TCCA Notes to Presentation I 13 20th Annual JAA/FAA International Conference

  9. Review suggests that FAA-JAA-TC co-ordination committee should continue to exist, it would disband / form / guide new groups as required. A new subject for co-ordination should be Advanced Materials – a new Research Technical Team should be formed in the near future. In the future both Passenger Health and Event Databases should also be considered for co-ordination. However passenger health is complex and responsibilities still not clear; we should wait. JAA/FAA/TCCA Notes to Presentation II 20th Annual JAA/FAA International Conference 14

  10. The JAA-FAA-TC Co-ordination Team will continue – TORs available on request The Icing and Cabin Safety Teams continue New Materials Team will be initiated unless any objections are received. Thank You JAA/FAA/TCCA Notes to Presentation III 15 20th Annual JAA/FAA International Conference
