General information • Speakers – please contact your session chair ! • Students have to pay their lunch (by themselves) • Kärkikabinetti reserved for lunch • Evening program has 10 e charge for students. • Undergraduate students get 1 credit, with active participation.   3. WLPR.NET • Public access network • Set WLPR.NET as network name • Use DHCP • Select suitable ISP, when surfing Internet (Free ISP) • Renew IP address • Click “OK” when you see an advertisement. 4.8.2004 LUT / Communications Engineering / Jouni Ikonen

Feedback system – WAWC’04 • System in test use, running in separate canvas and computer • Provides a change to give the lecturer realtime feedback • Allows you to rate the presentation during it • Results and questions/comments shown for the lecturer and the auditorium in real time 4.8.2004 LUT / Communications Engineering / Jouni Ikonen

Setting Toshiba’s Pocket PC Wireless network card ON • Check that WLAN-switch (the one on the right) on the bottom of the PDA is set ”ON” – WARNING: Do not reset the PDA! • Click the WLAN icon on the PDA’s title bar • Turn ON WLAN interface from popup window 4.8.2004 LUT / Communications Engineering / Jouni Ikonen
