  1. A Case Study of the Prospect called “MBBS in Nepal” When it comes to opportunities for higher medical education outside India, there are plenty of them and Nepal is one of these said opportunities. Though there is some awareness regarding this prospect, the level of awareness regarding MBBS in Nepal is still low. Thus, this post seeks to clear some of that air and comprehensively inform you about the most important factors of this prospect. The aim is to ensure that students are more well-informed about this prospect before approaching admissions. •Legitimacy When looking at any university or overall prospect, the best way to gauge its quality is by looking at the accreditation and recognition said organization has gained over the years. In the case of MBBS in Nepal, the top medical universities here have their fair share of accolades and recognition from some of the top global agencies in the world like - 1. World Health Organization (WHO) 2. National Medical Commission (NMC) (erstwhile Medical Council of India/MCI)

  2. 3. Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) of the USA 4. National Boards of Medical Examiners (NBME) of the USA 5. General Medical Council (GMC) of the UK, and many more. These organizations certify and recognize the curriculum that is followed here as well as the pedagogy, standard of research facilities, and the overall university in Nepal. This also means that medical graduates from universities here are eligible for a number of licentiate exams across the world, like the FMGE/NEXT Exam of India, USMLE of the United States, and PLAB of the United Kingdom. •Top Institutions for MBBS in Nepal Now that we are assured of the fact that the quality of services offered in Nepal would be top-notch. Thus, here are the universities that students need to be on the lookout for during their admission and application process. 1. B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences 2. Birat Medical College 3. There’s no need to pay any donations/capitation fees. •Student/Campus Life No discussion on MBBS in Nepal is complete without mentioning the enriching campus life that the students there will be privy to. Though there’s nothing extraordinary about these facilities that aren’t offered elsewhere, it’s the quality that matters. The campuses are patrolled by guards and have 24x7 CCTV surveillance as well. Apart from this, there are state-of-the-art sporting and gym facilities for the students, which can be accessed any time of the day. This is nicely complemented by the spacious and latest tech-enabled auditoriums, halls, and libraries, which take care of the leisure and “infotainment” aspects. Finally, the universities are close to grocers, banks with ATMs, and medical facilities among others.
