  2. Model 914OVS Wrapper

  3. Orbital Servo Cross Seal

  4. Texwrap introduces the latest twist in vertical container wrapping Automatic Label Positioning System

  5. What is Vertical Wrapping? • Vertical wrapping is a method of shrink wrapping products while they are standing up. • Traditionally tall products to be wrapped in a single file, had to be laid down in order to be wrapped or were wrapped standing up but had an unsightly seal on the side of the package. • Ugly • Not good for printed film • These products generally come directly off a filler standing upright • Vertical Wrapping eliminates the need to lay them down

  6. What’s Driving It? • Sustainability/source reduction • Labor reduction or elimination • Club store multipack demand/variety packs

  7. Source Reduction • Eliminate chipboard carrier or tray • U-board carrier to machine and hide bar codes • Manually placed usually

  8. Labor Reduction/Elimination • Even when wrapping is automated, label positioning is slow manual operation

  9. Club/Retail Store Multipack Demand • Multipacks are becoming more popular • Often co-packers are used for packaging • More and more companies are bringing in-house • Variety packs very popular • Promotional combo opportunities

  10. Printed Film • Hides individual bar codes • Give the multipack a unique UPC • Increased shelf appeal

  11. Chip Carrier/Tray Elimination • For machinability • Obscures bar codes • Source reduction opportunity • Less cost to eliminate

  12. Patented Orbital Technology • Patent pending vertical orbital servo • Faster than any other • Eliminates movement • Extremely rugged • Low maintenance

  13. Gen 3 Servo Design • Designed form the ground up as a servo • Withstands the high torques of servo motors • Not a converted mechanical design • No air required • All elements work together

  14. Bottom Trim Seal • Security of trim vs. lap seal • Eliminates unsightly side seal • Not good for printed film

  15. TGM Trim Seal • Texwrap exclusive • Patented design • Automatically compensates for speed changes • Very secure seal • Works with all films

  16. APPS • Advanced Product Positioning System

  17. Package Shelf Appeal • Allow the graphics to show thru • No unsightly side seal • Trim seal is on the bottom • Printed film adds appeal

  18. Obscure Individual Bar Codes • In multipacks, the bar codes on the individual items have to be hidden • New bar code for the multipack unit for store scanning

  19. Speed • Fastest on the market x 2 • High speed camera system • Up to 75 3-packs/minute

  20. Flexibility • Different package sizes

  21. Ease-of-Operation • Intuitive • Help screens for setup • Easy-to understand controls • Lockable service levels • Product recipe library
