Project Area Links • To support CALM PPM scenarios we propose to add the following links between project areas: • Contributes to: if a project Area C contributes to a project area P • And the reverse link between P and C: comprises (or comprised of) Project Area A Contributes To Contributes To Project Area B Project Area C

  3. Plan linking • Due to the fact that in RTC a project area can be used to deliver more than one release pure project area linking is not enough. So we have to introduce links between plans and corresponding RRC and RQM artifacts as well: Plan P1 Contributes To Requirement Set Plan P2 Test Plan implements Tested by

  4. Work item links across Project Areas • Contributes To links between project areas and plans can spawn repository boundaries. This implies that links between work items on these plans must be able to spawn repository boundaries as well. Since a parent / child relationship implies semantic (for example last child closes parent) which we might not be able to provide across repository / project area boundaries we propose to add a special work item link here as well.
