Interesting facts • Spiders have four pairs of leg so do scorpions, mites and all the other members or the arachnid family • This makes arachnids different to insects • Arachnids have venomous fangs • There bodys are made up of two main parts. The front part is called the cephalothorax. The second is the abdomen • Many insects can fly but arachnids can’t.

  4. Sub groups • There are no sub groups of the arachnid family but there are different types of animals in the family like • The wolf spider, sun spider etc • The emperor scorpion, whip scorpion etc
