Human spoken and pictorial languages can be described as a system of symbols (sometimes known as lexemes) and the grammars (rules) by which the symbols are manipulated. The word "language" also refers to common properties of languages. Language learning normally occurs most intensively during human childhood. Most of the thousands of human languages use patterns of sound or gesture for symbols which enable communication with others around them. Languages seem to share certain properties although many of these include exceptions. There is no defined line between a language and a dialect. Construct language such as Esperanto, programming languages, and various mathematical formalisms are not necessarily restricted to the properties shared by human languages. Communication is the flow or exchange of information within people or group of people.
A variety of verbal and non-verbal means of communicating exists such as body language, eye contact, sign language, paralanguage, haptic communication, chronemics, and media such as pictures, graphics, sound, and writing.
Internal communication is between two persons within the organization. eg- worker and manager. External communication is between somebody in the organization and outside it.
Formal communication is along the channel of formal organization structure. eg . Supervisor and workmen. Informal communication is outside the formal channel. eg- two different employees over tea cups in canteen.
Verbal communication may be spoken or written. Verbal communication consists of speech, words which are arranged in a proper sequence according to the rules of grammar. Non verbal communication consists gestures, actions, expressions etc. It includes body language, time, signs & symbols, charts, maps & graphs, posters, color & layout.
Incommunications, media (singular medium) are the storage and transmission channels or tools used to store and deliver information or data. It is often referred to as synonymous with mass media or news media, but may refer to a single medium used to communicate any data for any purpose
