  12. This is Your Defining MomentShaping your Destiny Define UNBELIEF • Unbelief is: The lack of faith and trust in God that challenges his truthfulness and finds expression in disobedience and rebellion. • Also, noted as in-your-face-rejection

  13. This is Your Defining MomentShaping your Destiny Israel and the Promise Land. Num 13-14 • Has Just witnessed the hand of God deliver them through the vice of 10 plagues • Witnessed her enemy swallowed by God in the Red sea • Encounter the protection of God daily in the form a pillar of cloud by day and fire by nite • God provides water from a rock when they cried out concerning their thirst • Provides food from heaven to eradicate their hunger • Manifested His glory from a mountain in order to talk to them • Had them build a Tent in order that He could dwell among His people

  14. This is Your Defining MomentShaping your Destiny • Answer to Unbelief (Ps 78:4–8). • We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about his power and his mighty wonders. • 5 For he issued his laws to Jacob; he gave his instructions to Israel. • He commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children, • 6 so the next generation might know them— even the children not yet born—and they in turn will teach their own children. • 7 So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands. • 8 Then they will not be like their ancestors— stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God. .)
