  1. Managing Risks And Risk Assessment at Work

  2. As detailed on the UK Government advice page: As an employer, you must protect people from harm. This includes taking reasonable steps to protect your workers and others from day to day risks due to the Corona-virus pandemic. This is called a COVID-19 risk assessment and it will help you manage risk and protect people. You must identify what work activity or situations might cause transmission of the virus, think about who could be at risk, decide how likely it is that someone could be exposed, act to remove the activity or situation, or if this isn’t possible, control the risk. 3. Steps that need to be undertaken to manage risks are: • Assess the risks • Control the risks • Record your findings • Review the controls The document in the link below was produced by the UK Government as guidance to help you work safely (be COVID-secure) and manage the risk associated with running your business at this time. 5. Providing written evidence is acceptable in most circumstances, however it can be time consuming and there is no proof that the information provided is as accurate as it could be. Proof of presence systems have been used for many years by Healthcare facilities, Schools, Colleges, Universities, Shopping Centre’s, Stadiums, Local Government, Facility Management companies to monitor cleaning team’s activity and provide health and safety information. How can our Proof of Prescence solutions help with your Risk Assessment reporting?

  6. This is to ensure regular checking and cleaning of all workspace environments and communal areas to help avoid health issues, as well as to avoid slip hazards and to provide detailed reports to support risk assessment compliance. This has mainly been under the auspices of their Health & Safety Policy to ensure they are fulfilling their duty of care. How can our Proof of Prescence solutions help with your Risk Assessment reporting?

  7. Our standalone Patrol Systems and Real Time Proof of Presence Systems provide detailed electronic reports that confirm that an operative has visited a designated workstation, washrooms, communal area or even a specific hand sanitizing station. You simply fix a named checkpoint, where required, and use a portable data collection device to read the checkpoint’s unique serial number with a time and date stamp. An event book containing 10 checkpoints can also be configured with up to 10 pre-defined cleaning processes or event descriptions to indicate what the operative has done. Real Time Proof of Presence System

  8. When this information is collected via our Patrol Management software, an electronic report can be generated identifying each location visited and any action taken. A selection of predefined reports can then be used to analyse the stored data. All reports on our standalone systems can be viewed on screen, printed, exported to Excel or saved to PDF and when using the Cloud platform associated with our real time solution they can be download in .CSV format or emailed, using the system report scheduling capabilities. All collected information can be searched by using various criteria including date and time, location, and user name. Real Time Proof of Presence System
