  1. Welcome to 7th/8th Grade Science 7th Grade Science Welcome to the Study of Life

  2. Materials • Every day, students are expected to come to class prepared. • Students will need a pencil/pen, paper, charged Chromebook, and a folder designated for Science

  3. Philosophy • I believe that all students have the right to learn. • All students have the right to be heard and I am here to help the students learn.

  4. Classroom Expectations • Respect yourself, others, and the environment at all times. • Be on time, in your seat, and prepared to learn when the bell rings.

  5. Homework • Homework is the Classwork you did not finish in class. • Late work is accepted at full credit. • Students should have their classwork completed in class.

  6. Tests • Test Notes will be given the Monday before the Wednesday Science Test. • Science Tests will be administered every other Wednesday.

  7. Science Fair Projects • Projects are required. • Grading will be the equivalent of one Chapter Science Test. • If all components are addressed, student will receive 100% as a test grade.

  8. Other Activities • Science Links/Moby Max: Chromebooks • Science Labs • Science Court • Rocket Day

  9. Grading • Classwork/Labs=20% • Tests =80% Grades will be based on a cumulative percentage system.
