  1. Strike the Right Balance Between Internet Access and Parental Control A hypothetical question to answer if the internet has made our life easier or difficult when it comes to the online safety of the kids. From limiting screen time to overseeing the children’s online presence, there are so many things with you can do to strike the right balance between the internet access and parental control for kids from age one to nineteen. 1. 0 – 2 years Infant: American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no screen time for children under the age of two. However, with so much influence of screens around, babies will begin to recognize them. Sit along with her/him instead of giving them time alone with the screen. At this age, you may not need any router child protection. 2. 2 – 5 Toddler: These are cognitive years for crucial brain development and interaction. American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no more than two hours of screen time a day. If your child is interested in a specific game or app, involve in the activity and interact with them. Choose the best parental control Wi-Fi to block apps or contents you may feel inappropriate as there are chances of accidental clicking and downloading of unwanted apps. 3. 6 – 9 Children: This is the right time to educate your child on proper online etiquette and various dangers of the web as more and more children involve in cyberbullying than the actual face-to-face bullying as it is more comfortable when they’re behind a computer screen. Teach them to treat others with respect and to report any hurtful or inappropriate messages apart from monitoring your children’s online activities with router child protection. 4. 10 – 12 Tweenager: Predators use social media to find out children’s personal details like places of residence, schools, etc. that can often be used against the children. So, teach your kids to communicate only with people they have met in person. Explain to them how online doesn’t give them anonymity or protection. With so many best parental control Wi-Fi available, you can monitor your child’s social media and filter contents. 5. 13-19 Teenager: For teenagers, internet access is a social necessity. Educate them on the dangers of identity theft and inappropriate content as teenagers get jobs and bank accounts. Ensure your child knows not to give out her Social Security number or debit card information. Make sure you monitor your child’s online activities with parental control routers to protect them from online abuses. As the internet has become inevitable, with some precautionary measures like parental control, creating a safe and healthy environment online is not going to be as intimidating as it sounds.
