General Aim and Goals of CC SURE • Comprehensive treatment of active power networks (Smart Grids) from the production, distribution and consumption of electricity • Implementation of active Smart Grid network Conceptin Slovenia • Verification and validation of newly developed solutionsandproducts for integration into smart electricity networks of the future. Goals: • to build concepts of an active power network, based on new technologiesand tested in parts of the real electro energetic network • implementation of several demonstration projects active distribution network solutions, • development of primary and secondary elements of the distribution network • development and implementation of energy efficient consumer burdens in terms of household appliances and • high-efficiency energy converters, propulsion and electromechanical converters in terms of industrial use.

Smart Grids technologies PROPOSAL FOR COOPERATION In the Smart Grids field we are looking for partners that will be able to bring their technology and marketing knowledge inside the working group so that we candevelop and implement new technologies through pilot& demonstration applications to the commercial projects in EU and in Japan. • Potential partners/customers: • Utility companies (energy providers), • Transmission system operators (TSO) and Distribution system operators (DSO). • These two types of companies can use Virtual power plant solutions for their Tertiary reserves (TSO) or for optimization of their Balance groups (Utilities/energy providers). • Engineering companies -system integrators/solution providersforprojectdesignandimplementation.
