  5. Horse Riding Instructor Educational requirements • Assistant Instructor (BHSAI) requires: • BHS Stage 3 (Riding and Care) • Minimum age 17 years • Preliminary Teaching Test • Minimum age 18 years • Up to December 2006 • 500 hours teaching logged • From January 2007 • Coaching portfolio
