In order to improve negotiation skills, you must do the following things: • Learn to say NO: it may seem hard to say no to your friend or your mother but when it comes to professional life, saying no is a big plus. • Read body language: while discussing an agreement, if you have inkling what the other party is thinking then it can give a slight advantage while putting together your conditions. • The body language of the other party helps you decide if they have confidence in what they are proposing.

  3. Research skills: you cannot know everything just by looking at a person’s body language; you must research the topic at hand thoroughly. Good research skills give you information that can assist you in the future discussions. • Active listening abilities: while discussing an agreement, you must listen to everything that’s been said actively. This will allow you to investigate complex clauses and inquire about crucial details. • Negotiate Everything: the more you negotiate, the better you’ll get in making people agree to your demands. Continuous practice will give your confidence a spiking boost and you’ll be able to excel in professional dealings.
