  1. Gregory Elias Gregory Elias Betters Himself Through Reading

  2. When Gregory Elias can spare a few moments from his busy schedule as a finance professional, he likes to use that time to read. He has found that reading, even just a little each day, has improved his whole life and overall health.

  3. Acting as the Chairman and Managing Director for The United Group can be stressful at times. Elias has found that opening a book and spending some time reading is incredibly therapeutic. He is able to step away from the stresses of life and learn something new, or at least gain a new perspective.

  4. Elias has also found that reading as a hobby has improved his memory. Everyone deals with memory loss as they age, some sooner than others. The human ability to recall detailed information from the days or years before becomes suspect as the brain ages.

  5. Reading is a good exercise for the brain, allowing it to retain its memory capabilities longer throughout life. Having completed law school himself, Elias has also discovered that reading helps his brain to work more analytically. Each time a person reads, even a short fiction story, the brain is looking for patterns in the writing.

  6. The brain also tries to draw conclusions and figure out the puzzle or ending before the story is over. This exercise is an analytical function that can be easily carried over into a person's professional life. It is because of this that Gregory Elias reads just about anything he can get his hands on.
