Communication Platform Integration of conventional and electronic means An extended version of this presentation was presented at the seminar.The extended version included preliminary results on testing on the e-room communication platform developed by iMediaSoft (IMS) the contribution of marian Vasile (IMS) was also recognised. Conventional means of communication :: Periodic publication (printed), e.g. – MNT Bulletin (specialised):: Other printed materials (posters, flyers, etc):: Seminars, workshops, others meeting media Electronic means of communication USUAL TOOLS :: e-mail:: e-Newsletter:: interactive web pages, including databases, discussion groups NEW TOOLS :: e-Room system (developed by IMS within ROMNET-ERA)

  4. ROMNET-ERA e-newsletter Electronically distributed – contains information about conferences, workshops, seminars, training courses and initiatives. This activities are organised by members of consortium or other institutions in field of FP6 priorities (mainly in priority 1, 2, 3 and 5) Structure: text + links Previous issues: Info stored by subjects on the project web site

  7. ROMNET-ERA Database Inventory of research centres questionnaire - A databases with possibilities of: • change or update your registered information • search by key words (using operators ‘or’ and ‘and’ ) For search and edit data access is granted by username and password after registration

ROMNET ERA Database Database dedicated to the last call (December 2003) in FP 6, NMP (nanotechnologies and nanosciences, knowledge-based multifunctional materials, new production processes and devices). NEW TOOLSe-Room system (developed by IMS within ROMNET-ERA) The e--room system is not yet implemented at this stage of development (25 April 2004) Conclusions All conventional and electronic means of communication presented here are used for inventory of the Romanian Research Centres,Networking for FP6 priorities and dissemination of information regardingROMNET-ERA project
