  2. Physical Characteristics What does it look like? The snow leopard has a spotted coat and grayish , brown yellow fur to protect it from the harsh weather. It also has a thick tail to help it balance and its size can reach up to two feet. And it weights between 55-150 pounds.

  3. HabitatWhere does it live? Snow leopards live in the high mountains of central Asia , Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajistan and Uzbekistan and they also prefer cliffs.

  4. Why is it endangered?How many Are left in the wild?How humans are helping? The snow leopard is endangered because herders poaching and its habitat is vanishing. There are between 4,000-6,000 snow leopards left in the wild. People are helping by teaching local people not to poach snow leopards. And there are helping organizations such as the snow Leopard trust.

  5. Diet and Food ChainWhat does it eat , and what eats it? Snow leopards eat blue sheep, mountain ibex, marmots, hares and game birds. Nothing eats it but people kill it. Sun Grass Mountain Ibex Snow Leopard
